It looks like many people are starting to figure out what we at Transcendent have known for a while; Albuquerque is a great place to live. November saw a record 652 homes sold in the greater Albuquerque area. The Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors says that this November was the strongest seen in Albuquerque since 2006; two years before the housing crisis, reports Stephanie Guzman from the Albuquerque Business First. Homes in the Albuquerque area are selling faster than they have in a long time, so fast in fact, that Albuquerque is going through an inventory shortage.
So far in 2015, there have been 8,983 home sales in Albuquerque, compared to 8,465 in 2014. This means that there are around 4.74 listings per buyer, down from last year’s 6.38 listings. If this sounds like it’s a good problem to have, that’s because it is. Demand to purchase homes in our great community is up, and for the first time since June 2006, there are fewer than 3,500 active market listings in the Albuquerque area.
Here at Transcendent, we’ve always known how wonderful it is to live and work in this city. It seems that a lot of other people are catching on too. If you are planning on scooping up one of these hot Albuquerque properties, fill out our online form a free quote.
